Computer classes are provided by GitsSmart.  Their copyrighted curriculum is designed to integrate fundamental computer skills with traditional skills in a fun, yet challenging learning environment. The ultimate goal for the children is to enhance their comprehension level of the 3 R’s as well as their computer “know-how”. 

 The classes work best when children are allowed to work in teams where they share their ideas and are able to help one another solve problems. This environment works in promoting confidence, self-esteem and motivation to learn.

In today’s environment of computer technology, it is imperative that we teach students how to use the power of the computer as the “tool” that it was designed to be and not just a “toy” geared toward entertainment.
