School Age Program
6 - 9 Years Old
The school age program at Children of Tomorrow is a place for fun, learning, and growth for 6-9 year olds. Students depart and arrive at Children of Tomorrow through the bus company provided by their school. School age programs are offered at our Waconia, Norwood Young America, and Carver locations.
Your School Age Child’s Day at Children of Tomorrow
Every day in our school age programs at Children of Tomorrow, you will find students participating in activity zones called learn, create, and play.
Learn: Students can work on their homework with a skilled teacher that will provide tutoring support, answer questions, check for accuracy, and challenge them to complete their assignments. A library of books is also available to each student.
Create: Students will explore highly-critical STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) activities through building and constructing, arts and crafts, and science. Students learn to express their creativity while sharing and having fun, as well as a weekly opportunity to cook.
Play: As important as learning is the chance to play and just be a kid! In the play area, students are encouraged to stay fit, compete, relieve stress, and learn about sportsmanship and teamwork. Children of Tomorrow provides balls, games, jump ropes, and areas for safe climbing to relieve the pressures of their day and have fun with their friends.
Children of Tomorrow offers care before & after school, school release days, late starts, and early release days.

Praise From Children of Tomorrow Families
“Thank you so much for your years of dedication, caring and nurturing. It is an extremely hard decision when deciding where to take your first newborn when returning back to work. We are so glad that we chose Children of Tomorrow and proud to say that our children go to an exceptional learning center not a daycare. Not only does COT care and love for them, they encourage development during critical years in their lives. Learning is not just a part of the day, it is introduced in a fun and exciting way so that they can continue to be what they are…kids. During the preschool years, COT has done an extraordinary job of going above and beyond to prepare these children mentally, socially and emotionally for their next journey in life. Thank you so much for understanding that our children mean the world to us and for being an important part of their lives.“
