Sign Language Program
Children of Tomorrow teaches sign language across all classrooms–starting at only six months of age! Sign language provides a tangible hands-on choice for expression of feelings, thoughts, and ideas.
Our teachers receive training on using sign language in the classroom to help children express their needs, thoughts, and observations before they are able to fully articulate or speak clearly. Research shows incredible benefits to teaching sign language including: An increase in vocabulary, providing language stimulation, a greater interest in books, and easier connection with children before they can speak.
Children of Tomorrow teaches children signs in the categories of: Clothing, nursery rhymes, nature/weather, family, colors, bedtime, numbers, the alphabet, animals, emotions, and more.
Teaching our students’ sign language is another way we offer education-rich ways for your children to learn, play, and communicate!

Praise From Children of Tomorrow Families
“I cannot say enough about Children of Tomorrow! My twins and I become part of their family back in 2003 after my previous child care center closed. We immediately felt at home based on the welcoming staff, the way my kids responded to their teachers, and the care and nurturing provided by all people in the center. As a result of my experience, I became and active part of their Board as a way to “pay back” to the center the wonderful services they provided for my kids.
If I had to choose just a couple of reasons I chose Children of Tomorrow, it really comes down to caring, professionalism and that personal touch. During our time there, I went through a tough time personally, and there was NEVER a doubt that my kids were taken care of. I talked to the Director and the kids teachers so they knew what was happening, and truly felt my kids got the extra TLC they needed. The teachers, Director and all staff were accessible at all times, and ready and more than willing to help out wherever they could. My kids are now in second grade and to this day, they still speak fondly of COT, and say “hello” to the center each time we drive by.
COT is in a class by itself. It is filled with people who honestly care about children, and provides a nurturing, educational environment by combining the social and educational stepping stones for kids’ future.
Thank you COT for providing a wonderful environment for my family, I wish you continued success!”
